Talin is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with kids, adolescents, and adults. She received her master’s degree in clinical psychology with and emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. During her graduate program she trained in community mental health working with adults and children who experienced of interpersonal violence, sexual assault, and abuse utilizing using trauma informed modalities.

She also has extensive experience working as a school-based therapist within the Hart Unified School District seeing kids in the special education and general education settings. She has experience working with children who are neurodivergent including those with diagnosis of ADHD, Autism, and Sensory Processing Disorders.  In addition, she has worked with children and adolescents with mood disorders, anxiety, and depression.

She is trained in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Her approach is client-centered, and strengths based. She uses a variety of modalities in her practice including CBT, Solution-Focused, and Humanistic approaches when working with clients in addition to utilizing an attachment focused and trauma-informed lens.
