Vivian VonkClinical Mental Health Counselor
Vivian has had several years of working in the mental health field. She has been trained in EMDR, Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Interpersonal Violence, Motivational Interviewing, and Seeking Safety LGBTQ sensitivity. Vivian has experience with Suicide Ideation and attempts, Chemical Dependency, Domestic Violence, Trauma and working with Homeless Young Adults. Vivian received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Westminster College. Vivian utilizes therapies such as Dialectical Behavioral, Play, Child-Parent Relationship, Insight Oriented, EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral. She believes in the power of the relationship, focusing on attachment and creating safety through a trauma-focused lens while creating reparative experiences that allow for growth.
