Jake Andreason hails from a small family right here in Utah. He is licensed in Utah as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and is a National Certified Counselor. A graduate of the University of Utah, Jake received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology. He went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, and then received his doctorate in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Jake has a varied clinical background having worked with a variety of populations. As an intern, Jake worked heavily in addiction and trauma. He has treated children, adolescents, and adults while specializing in attachment issues with children and families working through adoption. This process has led to an ability to work well with families to manage intense behavioral issues with children. In addition, Jake has significant experience in the area of couples counseling having received training in the Gottman method.
Jake has many different interests he pursues in his free time. He enjoys rock music, cars, and spending time with his family. Jake is married to his high school sweetheart and they have two children together. Jake’s dream in life is to own a car collection that rivals Jay Leno’s collection.
